Risk Assessment

We have a wealth of experience undertaking individual risk assessments involving the manual handling of children and adults. 

We can undertake these assessments at :

• When undertaking leisure activities

We can undertake a thorough risk assessment anaylsing all of the practical and emotional issues involved with moving and handling another person. We would write a report outlining these issues and make recommendations to reduce the risks of injury to that person and their carers.  

This may involve recommendations to :

• change the techniques used  
• try alternative equipment
• housing adaptations
• provide training to the carer
• competency assessment for the carers
• increase or decrease the numbers of carers involved
