functional ability. Providing supervision, mentoring and continuous professional development to the team. Advising Senior Managers on Strategic Risk reductions measures. Advising with Legal Services
in complex situations. Working with Assessment and Enablement Services, External Care
Agencies, Voluntary Organisations and Housing Associations.

Clinical lead for strategy and training provision across
the group of three private hospitals specialising in cardiac and orthopaedics surgery and rehabilitation, neuro-rehabiltitation and fertility services. Budget management
and working with HR and Occupational Health on return to work assessments.
April 1996–Sept 1998 Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Trust, Lead Manual Handling Advisor for the Trust.
New position within the Trust and included service development, writing organisational policies/procedures, risk assessment, training provision, equipment provision within all clinical and non clinical areas.

Provision of OT services as part of the generic team.

Locum OT working in Neurological Rehabilitation Unit and
Work Hardening Unit. Rehabilitation of brain injured
clients (mainly manual workers), undertaking work place assessments and developing rehabilitation programmes based on job analysis and job demands.

Rotational OT in acute and community mental health units, working with young adult and elderly memory impaired teams.
