Sarah Iceton MA, Dip COT
Sarah qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1990 and has worked as an independent practitioner since 2001. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience, having provided manual handling training and advisory services within the NHS, Social Services, Schools and the Private sector since 1996. Sarah has also undertaken a number of interim consultancy positions. She has a Masters Degree in Health Studies and Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Health and Social Care Education.
Sarah's principle work includes ;
- bespoke manual handing training for staff involved in moving people within hospital environments, residential homes, clinics and in their own homes
- providing manual handling advisory services for organisations
- undertaking individual and organisational manual handling risk assessments
- ergonomic advice for organisations
- return to work assessments and liasing with employers regarding workplace adjustments
- housing adaptations
Sarah has experiencing working with people from all age groups and within a range of different environments.
She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is an Advanced Member of National Back Exchange.
